REPORT CARDS & POWERSCHOOL
In an effort to be more efficient with our resources, HHS will no longer be printing paper copies of report cards to mail home. Students and families will be encouraged to view their PowerSchool portal online. Parents who already have accounts set up do NOT need to create a new account. If you have login issues or questions regarding your Parent PowerSchool account, you may contact Mrs. Erb in the high school office at 269-945-6169 or by email at: kristi.erb@hassk12.org (Note: Parents still needing a paper copy mailed can request one from Mrs. Erb.) SENIOR GRAD INFO
Mrs. Peake sent you a google form regarding graduation information. You need to complete the form by Monday, January 12th. If you have any questions see Mrs. Peake.
SENIOR CLASS PARTY-PHHSSP*
We will have a table set up in the lunchroom on January 20 for students to RSVP for the Senior Class Party following graduation.
The cost to RSVP is $10 per student, and we will also be collecting T-shirt sizes at that time.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to make this a memorable celebration for our seniors.

BLOOD DRIVE
The Interact club is hosting a blood drive Monday, January 19, from 8:00am-12:30p. Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a pair of black/white flannel pants while supplies last. If you would like to donate please sign up online

MUSICAL
CREW ANNOUNCEMENT
The Hastings High School production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is under way, and crew applications are now open! Go to hastingsmusical.com if you would like to apply to work behind the scenes in the technical aspects of the show including sets, lights, projections, special effects, and all of the other magic that makes our HHS productions successful. Again, please visit hastingsmusical.com for the application. These are due Jan 20th.
STUDENT SERVICES
CREDIT RECOVERY
Registration is open for the HHS Credit Recovery program, which runs from January through April. Credit Recovery utilizes the Edgenuity software program online and is designed for students to recover credit(s) lost in previously failed high school courses. Interested students should pick up a Registration Application from Mrs. Erb in the Counseling Department. Credit Recovery will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15, from Jan. 6 until April 30, located here at the high school in Room D204. Attendance is required. Questions? Contact Mrs. Erb. (1/9)

WINTER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
If you're looking for something to do this winter or want to stay in shape for a spring sport, join Winter Strength and Conditioning. This will be taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday after Christmas break from 3:15 to 4:30 in Mr. Knop's room (D205). This is open to everyone, so if you want to get faster and stronger for baseball, softball, soccer, track, or tennis this spring, please come out! If you have any questions, please email Mr. Knop at anthony.knop@hassk12org.
SOFTBALL
Any Girls interested in playing softball this Spring, there is a signup sheet outside the Athletic Office in The Commons. Coach will pick the sheet up on Wednesday.
RESULTS from coaches
JV Girls Basketball
TheJV Girls had a home game against Pennfield. The girls fought hard and pulled away with a dub! The girls beat Pennfield 41-39. This was the girls season high in points. The game came down to the last minute. Liv Buehler had a season high of 18 points! Kim Coolidge followed with 6 points and a season high of 10 rebounds. The girls improved their record to 4-3. They look to improve their record next Tuesday @ Marshall @ 5:30!
Bowling
The Saxons traveled to Char Lanes in Charlotte to bowl Olivet High School bowlers. The Saxon Boys won 26-4 over Olivet Varsity Boys. Owen Boge for 2 points for 210, 149, Andrew Barton 2 pts for 198, 178, Brody Mix 1 pt for his 243 game but also rolled a 199. Dakota Cole 1 pt. for his 136 and Jonas Stiling fought hard against his opponent the bowled a 211 to Jonas's 203. The Saxons Boys earned 10 pts for Baker matches with a high game 180. The Saxon Girls won over Olivet Varsity Girls 18-12. Chloe Pirtle scored top personal score 123, 132 earning 2 pts for those games, Khloe Baker earned a point for her game 98, and Megan Ramey a point for her 174 game. High games bowled for Misha Haskin is 81 and Tempy Jiles 91. The Girls were able to take 10 pts in baker matches with a high game 124. Brennan Armstrong bowled with Olivet JV bowlers and earned 2 pts for his 127, 118, Max Steele bowled a 139 and a 176 games earning him a point for his high game. The Saxon bowler will be traveling to M66 for the Battle of the Bakers Tournament. Wish them luck, GO SAXONS!
Freshman Girls Basketball
The Saxon Girls' Freshman team played at home last night against the Pennfield Panthers. The girls fought hard until the very last second. It was a nail-biter of a game; however, the Panthers took home the W with a score of 28 to 27. Layla Armour led the team with 10 points. Hadley Grove led the team in offensive rebounds, and Evelyn Webb played lockdown defense in the paint. Great job, Saxons! The Freshman girls play at Marshall on Tuesday.
