if you're considering coming to Hastings area schools for your family and your students would love to tell you about it there is very much something called  and pride yes if you haven't heard it's a great day to be a Saxon you haven't been in Hastings long I think the value of Hastings is one of a very hard-working Community give me this feels like a larger town but it's still that good Hometown fuel I felt welcome here even though I I was not born and raised anywhere near here everybody especially in the Fine Arts community they know about the Hastings Performing Arts Center from Earth all the way through is amazing are kindergarten program is second to none in darkness so important cuz it's the foundation we have a young kindergarten in a kindergarten program that had been programmed for I am amazed they come out at the end of the school year and the guidance of these teachers have given me we take great pride in a meeting kids where they're at they come to school and some of them know very little since they're so excited to learn first letter of their name before write the name and now we're eating and we're writing stories and they love school but I would like parents to know is that a school is more than bricks-and-mortar the kindergarten program here is amazing cuz of the teachers are very connected they feel like these children are theirs they raise them like their own I think it really boils down to the teachers and the leadership I can't say if you know they're doing the specific thing in the classroom that's peanut butter it's honestly the teachers and it's who's here which is that Community aspect right now we have stuff in a Winger with a class full of little young 5 then they give her a run for her money every day every day and she loves that stuff it was a smile on they just are so warm and loving and my son has a super sensitive heart and soul when he has days that he's feeling rough I feel like the teachers just come in our compassionate those teachers so much about whether your kid is is getting it I remember my teacher Mrs Waller and she was really nice we have a good kindergarten team we work well together for school even though we're spread out across the district we always come together we meet outside of school hours we work very collaboratively with Administration and teachers with even programs as they switch from elementary to middle school and how those transition will be seamless and we're constantly trying to help the upper L teachers that are giving them stuff and what can we do better to help prepare those kids we are a mtss to a multi-tiered system of support I'm school that we have built within the last few years send home newsletters bi-weekly talking about the happenings in our classroom I know it's not all about scores but we have great endurance course by the time they are ready to go in the first grade Arcana Garner's are reading for the time January rolled around 2 when all the pieces come together and everybody comes together for the benefit of my child I feel amazing to know that I have 14 minutes are my dream for the future of the education of Hastings is to continue to keep students first everything about kids is our future they make the world go round so we're going to do our best to do what we can for them to continue to make hasty set destination for students and families across Michigan so if there are parents I'm in the area that are considering Hastings tresaderm wondering about the differences in curriculum between us and maybe other neighbouring District call us come visit us and we will will meet with you I'm and welcome me with open arms
